Mr. Swapan Bhattacharya   Managing Director Mr. Bhattacharya has been associated with TCG Lifesciences or its affiliates since 1998. He is currently responsible for the executive leadership and overall management of the Company. He has over 24 years of experience in national and international organisations. Prior to joining us, he has held positions with Paine Webber Inc. and the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission. He holds a bachelor’s degree in technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, a master of sciences from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, U.S.A and a degree in Master of Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, U.S.A.     Dr. Arun Bhatt   President – Clinical Development Dr. Bhatt joined the TCG Lifesciences affiliate, Clininvent, in 2003. He is currently responsible for overall operations and strategic leadership of our Clinical Development division of Clininvent. He has over 30 years of experience in clinical research and development. Prior to joining the Company, he held various positions with Novartis, India. He is an M.D in internal medicine from the Bombay University, an MFPM from the Royal College of Physicians, U.K and FICP from the Indian College of Physicians, India.     Mr. Jeff Ferguson   Chief Executive Officer - Enterprise Informatics Joined LabVantage in 2010, Jeff Ferguson brought over more than twenty five years in the laboratory Information business. Prior to joining LabVantage, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at STARLIMS Corporation (now part of Abbott Laboratories) and the Director of Enterprise systems at Applied Biosystems (now part of Life Technologies). He began his laboratory information career at Nelson Analytical in Cupertino, California which was later acquired by Perkin Elmer. He earned his BA in Education at Eastern Michigan University.     Dr. Ashis K. Saha   Vice President – Discovery Research Dr. Saha joined TCG Lifesciences in February 2007. He is currently responsible for business development for our Chembiotek business unit. He has over 20 years of experience in the areas of anti-infectives, oncology, CNS and auto-immune diseases. Prior to joining the Company, he held positions with Epix Pharma and Johnson & Johnson. He holds a master’s degree in chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and a PhD in chemistry from the University of Michigan, U.S.A.     Dr. Sourav Basu   Associate Vice President - Chemistry Dr. Basu has been with TCG Lifesciences since 2001. He is currently responsible for overall operations and strategic leadership of the Chemistry Research operations of our Chembiotek business unit. His work experience in the area of chemistry includes total synthesis of steroids; Ni catalyzed organic transformations, development of new reagents and methodologies and parallel synthesis of libraries. His prior experience includes working as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Department of Chemistry, National Taiwan University. He has ten publications in peer reviewed international journals and more than 20 patents including one US patent to his credit. He holds a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry (NCL- Pune).     Dr. Goutam Saha   Associate Vice President - Chemistry Dr. Saha has been with the company since 2001. He is a part of the core team responsible for the growth of the company. Prior to joining TCG Lifesciences he worked with the Florida Institute of Technology, USA as a Research Scientist. He was also a visiting professor at Osaka University, Japan. He has published 17 papers in international journals. Dr. Saha is a PhD from the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata.     Mr. Rakesh Pandya   Associate Vice President - Finance Mr. Pandya has been associated with TCG Lifesciences since 2001. He is currently responsible for the financial management of the Company. He has over 15 years of experience in finance. Prior to joining the Company, he was employed with Institute of Molecular Medicine and Chatterjee Management Services Private Limited. He holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and a degree in Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.     Dr. Garrett J. Dilley   Senior Director - Business Development Dr. Garrett J. Dilley joined TCG Lifesciences Ltd. in December 2010. He is responsible for business development in USA. Prior to joining TCG Lifesciences he worked with Albany Molecular Research, Inc. (AMRI) as Senior Director of Business Development for Western US and Europe. He began his industrial career in 1993 as an Associate Scientist with Sphinx Pharmaceuticals, a division of Eli Lilly and Company. He has served on the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Associates, Membership Committee from 2007 to 2010 and currently he is on the Informex Executive Planning Committee to which he has appointed in 2007. He holds a Ph.D from University of Michigan in Synthetic Chemistry.     Dr. P. K. Roychowdhury   Director - Analytical Chemistry Dr. Roychowdhury has been with the company since 2001. He is a part of the core team responsible for the growth of the company. His area of expertise includes method development and validation of new chemical entities, and impurity profiling and characterization of novel molecules. Prior to joining the company he worked with Ranbaxy Research Laboratories, Lupin Pharmaceuticals and Hindustan Aluminum Corporation. Dr. Roychowdhury is a PhD from Banaras Hindu University in Organic Chemistry.     Dr. Subho Roy   Director - Chemistry & Head Process Development & Scale-up Dr. Roy has more than 10 years of Industrial experience. He has been with the company since 2002 and he is one of the key members responsible for the growth of the company. He is a specialist in new process development and process optimization. Dr. Roy has several publications to his credit and holds seven European patents. He has played a key role in conceptualizing and designing of the Kilo Laboratory. Dr. Roy did his PhD from Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, India. After a brief stint with AVRA Laboratories, he joined University of Kansas for his post doctoral work under Dr. Gunda I George from 1999 to 2002.     Dr. Manas K Majumdar   Director - Biology Dr. Majumdar has joined the company in the year 2009. He is a drug discovery biologist with over 12 years of experience in the drug discovery industry. Prior to joining TCG Lifesciences Dr. Manas was a member of the senior leadership team in the Immuno-Inflammation Department of GlaxoSmithKline. He has worked as Principal Scientist with Wyeth and previously he was involved in stem cell regenerative research at Osiris Therapeutics. He has done his PhD in Molecular Biology from Indiana State University in 1991 and after that Dr. Majumdar has also received a Howard Hughes Postdoctoral Fellowship.     Mr. Arnab Ray   Director - Human Resources Mr. Ray joined TCG Lifesciences in 2001. He is currently responsible for the recruitment, retention and development of human resource activities for the Company. He has about 12 years experience in the industry. Prior to joining the Company, he held various senior positions. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business and Industrial Relation from XLRI, Jamshedpur and a bachelor's degree from Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur College, Shibpur.     Mr. Kunihiko Hirose   Director - Business Development Mr. Hirose joined the company in the year 2008. He is currently responsible for business development in Japan. Mr. Hirose is equipped with 20 vast years of experience in the pharma industry. He held various positions at Okahata Co., Ltd, Seika Sangyo Co., Ltd, Itochu Chemical Frontier Corp, etc. Mr. Hirose has done his B.S. in Chemistry from University of Tokushima in 1991.     Mr. Rahul Dasgupta   Director - Commercial Mr. Dasgupta has been associated with the company since 2000. Mr. Dasgupta is responsible for managing legal and environmental compliances, procurement, sourcing, logistics and export & import procedures. He has over 21 years experience in chemical industry and prior to joining TCG Lifesciences he has worked with NALCO for 11 years. Mr. Dasgupta is a certified Chartered Accountant.     Mr. Sandeep Gupta   General Manager - Corporate Affairs Mr. Gupta has been associated with TCG Lifesciences or its affiliates since 2006. He is responsible for strategic planning and relationship building for the Company. He has over 27 years of experience in national and international organizations. Prior to joining the Company, he held various consultancy positions in different industries.
