Establishing our values and operating principles early on was a vital part of creating TCGLS.

That is why a “code of conduct” for all TCGLS employees was the first corporate policy adopted by the company. The code makes clear to employees how they can reflect and support the values of the organisation in their daily work. Each employee has a personal responsibility to implement the code to sustain the trust and confidence of all our stakeholders.


 
Each employee must:

• Conduct the company’s business with honesty and integrity and in a professional manner that protects the company’s good public image and reputation.

• Become familiar with and comply with legal requirements and company policy and procedures.
• Avoid any activities that could involve or lead to involvement in any unlawful practice or any harm to the company’s reputation or image.
• Avoid actual or potential conflicts of interest with the company, or the appearance thereof, in all transactions.
• Provide accurate information in records submitted, safeguard the company’s confidential information, and respect the confidential information of other parties with whom the company does business or competes.

We are committed to protecting the environment and the health of our employees by taking a systematic approach to managing Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) issues.
We believe that to improve our SHE performance we have to modify individual behavior. We aim to continue to improve the health, safety and well being of all our employees and the sharing of examples of best practice.

The basis of our system is the recognition and management of risks to our business and our staff. We have developed and continuously monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), which assist our managers and employees to identify priority areas and put in place appropriate systems to minimize the risks to our people, the environment and our business.
 
The following are the principal activities on Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) at TCGLS:

Conduct business in a manner that safeguards the environment, health and safety interests of our internal and external stakeholders.
Consistently strive to apply best practices in the industry to avoid accidents.
Impart training to internal stakeholders for safe conduct of their activities.
Investigate to determine the root cause of accidents, if any; take actions to correct the deficiencies and prevent the recurrence.
Protect the environment by practicing appropriate disposal procedures of hazardous effluents.
Conduct regular audits to inspect and test the safety systems.
